Aino Ackté’s villa was built in 1876 and is located in Tullisaari Park in Laajasalo, Helsinki. To provide the necessary background information, a point cloud and a baseline data model were created.
In the project, the building was laser scanned and point cloud data corresponding to the current status were produced. Based on the point cloud data, an inventory model was created that complies with YTV2012 level 2. For the facades, the inventory model was refined to comply with level 3. In addition, accurate 2D drawings of the windows and doors were produced at a scale of 1:2 based on hand measurements. The building history survey conducted by Ark-byroo supported the project.
The data was produced to support the renovation project of a listed building. For certain parts of the building, an inventory model at YTV level 3 and hand-measured detail drawings supported the preservation of the characteristics of the complex and detailed wooden villa.
